Oceanus

Just a quick message to inform you all about the arrival of my DSLR.
Hands down, even the most derpest person on earth owns one now.

My mother - full of grace as she is - sometimes - decided to get one!
She's actually totally weird.

I tried to persuade her to buy one months ago, of course she wouldn't want to hear about spending money on such a heavy brick, which only I use.
Then suddenly about a week ago, all of a sudden she told me that I should check DSLR prices in Japan, as she found that she had 500bucks for a camera...

The same thing happened when I was 10 and demanded for 2nd earlobe piercing. Forbidden!
1 year later - long forgotten were the hot wishes of my youth
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like wind in the meadow.
- she nearly forced me to get them done.

I ordered the camera from a very very dubious site, but they sold it for so cheap!
Everything went smooth though, so my doubts were unjustified, but the site was really weird. When ordering from more unknown smaller sites, I'd always check if all their links (like FAQ, About Us, Contact) really work and on this site a few links (Facebook Profile linked to twitter.com) didn't work, so I was a bit worried.

But no risk, no fun, I saved so much money ㅋㅋ

Anyways, here are my first act pro tries with my new toy, which I decided to baptize. I only need a name. (That is because I know a dude who named his cam Carmen #wtf)

My new Ikea lamp, Tisdag, which is a beautiful piece of art. I love the white matte finish, the shape of the neck (?) and that it's a LED lamp (green and economical).
The Little Twin Stars calendar is also just too cute!

Somehow I find that the wooden panels make my my room look a bit cottage style.

I always plan to get a FT Island desk calendar, but actually it's not too awesome and the pastel colorfulness of Litte Twin Stars is to-die-for.

Reminds me of CNY. We never celebrate CNY, because my family actually is a bit very the intellectual, aristocrat diplomat-ish, so we don't play with any Asian family. Actually, we don't really know any Asian family. I don't really mind, only that I never get angpow. ㅠㅠ

My YOURꙄƎYƎLIE tee. It comes in a very chic packaging, which surprisingly wasn't really damaged during its transport from Thailand!
I never know they ship it straight from their factory, since I assumed that it was a British label.

It took them really a long time to send, maybe because they are made to order? I think I waited nearly two weeks before I received a shipment confirmation.
But it's nice that they state a low price.

The tee is very nice, but the print is actually not as high quality as I had thought.

Oh yeah, I found an amazing blog of a photographer from Kyoto. My new backgrounds are his work ♥

MY COLOR - Perfume

Finally pulled it off! THE URL CHANGE
This blog now answers to the name of
ailing-àgogoBLOGSPOT.COM.

It really was about time and will probably cost me a few 100 visitors. But it's not like I ever had that much to lose.

This URL really fits so much better to me.
At the beginning I thought of something plainer and un-regrettablier like simply ailingchu.blogspot or aiheartchu - anything with my name.
But then luckily I remembered my good ol' trash blog ailing-agogo... and it's actually perfect, because I think my blog is too exorbitantly self-centered, so yeah.... the new URL does justice to the cheap contents of this blog.
I will also - now that the URL visually typography-wise looks better - try to create a logo sort of thing. Or at least think of a more constant watermark for my pics.

So please everyone, I really worked hard on the relink layout, please show lots of love and support for me. I will work harder in the future to post more often and even better stuffs. That was Ailing Chu for now. Thank you very much *korean bow*

P/s: The song I included this time is from my all time fav Japanese band Perfume! I adore them to death and really worship their creativity!
Their songs are all amazing and their dances are just drop dead awesome! This song is especially cool, because it's a love song to technology! Super すげい, because I love technology, too! I just want to live a little smart

So today

torn apart - BLEACH

I hate cherry tree banners, icons and artsy-fartsy pics. I saw too many exploitations of that kitsch scenery that I simply had to end up detesting it.
Admittedly, I have one or two cherry tree banners (not 100% sure though), which are kind of pretty, but when I think of those little petals whose pink shade has degenerated into some sort of carcinogenic insult of a color due to massive abuse of layers and some weird amateur ps actions, I start to shiver. Ugly as fuck.
So I really hope that I haven't and will never use a cherry tree banner on this blog. If I have or will have, please report to my present self at once!

Other than that, things change. I actually hate narrow blog layouts, because it's just not suited for displaying big pictures. Still this layout has a quite narrow frame for the posts and I find it pretty wtf.
Oh yeah, it's been some time since I officially introduced new layouts. But desperately trying to blog, I'm forced to celebrate my childish efforts again. Oh I know, I should even try to find a name for this layout, like... er Plain Poetry ok? Nice name onot? It's poetic (ahem) and illustrous?

Also my blog layouts get less and less and lesser pink. And simple. I also don't know what's wrong with me and how this all happened, but I can't do anything against it ㅠ.
Still, I think it's unmistakeable that I have a penchant for this color.

At least layouts like this underline the beauty of texts more and I hope that it will encourage me to update more often (as I think it's also better for shorter posts).

Apropos texts, is the font very horrible? It kind of cuts into my eyes everytime I look at it, but it's only 12px Arial!! Nothing extravagant...

Oh and I'm thinking about adding a c-box~ Should I? I want to make this blog more interactive...

君が明日蛇となり
人を喰らい始めるとして
人を喰らったその口で
僕を愛すと咆(ほ)えたとして
僕は果たして今日と同じに
君を愛すと言えるだろうか

If you were to turn into a snake tomorrow and begin devouring Humans, and from the same mouth you devoured Humans, you cried out to me "I love you!" Would I still be able to say "I love you" the same way I do today?
please take a look at how the verses start - Japanese ftw

Oh yeah, I nicked smelly life's 2nd blog (or whatever it was) URL and have it display my blog instead!
I didn't know she had this blog as well until a few minutes ago to be honest

Ok, the truth is the chick deleted her blog again, leaving her URL for anyone to register. So I thought, why not? I don't understand why people can delete their blogs, I could never delete this. It's like part of my life is all about these pages, how could I throw them away? Bloggers who can just delete their blogs on a whim are scum to me and should not be considered real bloggers! This is my way of the Ninja trying to act all determined Naruto-ish

I'm totally sure that I wanted to say more, but I can't remember what! I'm still so unable to update this blog with my latest purchases, because I'm too lazy to snap pics and worst of all transfer them to my computer. #wefgwedf

Signing off now, it's instant noodle time.
