But my thighs are damn fat... I still have to think about whether I register at the gym or not~ Waste of money HiAaZz...

The pictures are blur because my camera doesn't focus a white wall... not always... some pictures are sharp... I also don't know how to get that, but hey I managed to take the pictures without a tripod!!! (Secret: my legs got no shave www)
J and I literally went hiking through a forest and alongside country roads on the day we bought these~ Spent 200bucks!!

Today was splurge day with ice cream. Sitting in school all day long is soo frustrating and nerve-wrecking and it was such a warm day; I just had to buy ice cream and eat it!!!
Went a bit overkill and now I feel bad... #uncool

Sooner or later I will make it (the sooner the better tho), at least this Saturday got trial appointment.
Ok I end this post already. It was a super long day and I'm tired and lazy ww

    Life's a Beach

    Miss You - Taeyang

You would think that once you have free time you easily find yourself blogging. Not true. When you don't have blogging material.

My camera is found. But I don't have it with me right now. No pictures. No posts.

Even so, I just felt inspired to write these lines.
I am thankful that I can chose to be happy.
    I am thankful
    that I can move freely
    that I can spend money
    that some happiness is purchasable
I am thankful that I can chose to be happy.

Even if we have reasons to be bitter about life, we should not forget, or belittle or take for granted the greatness of being able to chose if we are happy or not, even if we decide to disregard this option.

As my friend and I want to go to Singapore this summer I am trying to find some nice beachwear.
I hate beach trips as I am very conscious about my body and I don't like to expose it at all. Well, not really, I don't mind brief bottoms, but I hate everything less than short tee sleeves.
I have never owned a bikini, only a very extravagant swimsuit, which I think should finally find it's way into the trash bin. The last few days I have been browsing the world wide web for bikinis that would look good on a non sex bomb body (read: flat as it gets) haha

    shop
    Flouncing Fabrics

can cheat a bigger bossom or butt by not resting flat on what's-not-there but creating some volume. If there really exists nothing wear a padded halterless bralet underneath, even a bit of something will be really enlarged by flounces.
PLUS due to their loooseness they add sexiness by faking the illusion of potential underboob or -butt (or -vag /god, I really hope that this term does not exist /googles).

Tip: Fringes also do the trick

    Show Some Other Skin

We cannot deny that flashing boobs is most effective, but those who cannot afford it can awaken some interest by drawing attention to some other parts.

Off-shoulder tops and cut-out bottoms do just the trick by revealing more at other (and sometimes even more daring) parts.

    Anything else?

Let's not forget that us women don't only have front curves, but also a derrière and men find that just as attractive (well, at least that's what I've heard) haha)

Brazilian, string, itsy - so many swimwear bottom shapes exist which can flaunt your sexy back. Another more playful is to wear a cute bow.

    COFFEE SHOP - B.A.P.

    FULL SIZE

A few little somethings I'd like to add to my summer wardrobe!
Inspired by Cy I thought it might be good idea to make a list of items I really am missing, else I spend another year of never owning them, but a bunch of other stuff I actually don't really need. Though I have the feeling that it isn't complete, I'd say I could do with just those.

    1. A flattering lose-fit soft fabric tee in a neutral colour, preferably with a little pocket. How long has this been on my wish list? I just want something casual that'll still look effortlessly good
    2. Stripes all the way please! What is this about stripes? At the same time classic, but still a bit playful? I don't know, they are so cute!
    3. Is there an official fashion term for those yet? Boyfriend shorts? Oversized shorts? Diaper shorts? I know they aren't exactly knew, but I noticed I don't own any pair of denim shorts... can't miss out on that basic, right?
    4. Birkenstocks! Haha... when the hyung told me about his (I didn't even recognize his fancy pair as such), I was giving him patronising praises at first, but ever since then.. I kinda tasted blood. I'd even wear them with socks!! Somehow I find the purely slip-in design a bit too slipper-ish (makes any sense?) so I thought the ones with a strap at the back were more street appropriate (I know, I know, buy already then buy real one), but I'm also kinda afraid I will just slip out of the shoe, especially if I run to catch the train
    5. Nude sandals! Lately, I love everything nude-toned! Especially on feet I feel nude leather is very pretty and elegant. It is very hard to find a pair like this, I searched the whole wide web, but this is the only pair with chunky sole and appropriate design and width of straps I found! The American Apparel version of this unfortunately has a wooden heel! /sigh life can be so cruel

I reckon deciding on what things to buy in advance saves you a lot of time and trouble during shopping, so I should do this more often!
Apropos, I have already compiled a list like this with skincare products, stay tuned, I command you.

    Welcome

Candle 2 Blood Brother finally jump wagoning one the scented candles in a glass- trend. Which was kinda unwise b/c I hate perfume-ish smells, luckily this beautiful one comes w/ a cool silver lid! Cotton and wool headband &other stories a neutral-coloured headband to protect my ears from freezing over, since hats push my bangs into my eyes Lip balm - Orange Neon &other stories their make-up has awesome (silver) packaging! Despite its name/looks, the colour is quite sheer and thus leaving a fine vivid hint of orange on your lips
lipstick case I bought this one a whim, since black leather and it head no price tag on. 'Twas actually 20 USD !! Btw, I actually don't even know why lipstick cases exist in general... but it's cool Leather Mittens in Black Vintage Renewal Urban Outfitters I simply love mittens! There's something cute about them, but the tough material make them so mighty. I consider them to be perfect, so please let me keep them for a lifetime

LIBBY ankle boots Vagabond finally my pair of chunky smooth leather walker ankle boots after forever admiring them on Korean shops. Despite their height they're comfortable max, I feel like I can sprint in them (and beat you not, but that's another story) Triple Zip Clutch &other stories full grain black leather x chunky fashion item? Love! Plus I fancied clutches with handles for the longest time (actually since Angela Merkel's floating pink clutch, I don't intend to wear mine that way tho) Compact Styler Beloved Tangle Teezer (not pictured above) my friend had one and from it's unusual look I could already smell that this was sth special. I tried it out on my haven't-combed-for-ages hair and it went back to Mulan mode. So I got one myself and did I mention that I love shiny silver?

Some New In's (automatically equals fav's) from Christmas season. I don't know what got into me, but considering how I used to hate black leather (in particular black leather handbags, I couldn't imagine anything less classy back then) it's ridiculous I decided it's one of my favourite material not so long ago. Full-grain black leather even more. It must be the rebel in my soul that survived the age of the pink princess and now wants to bring out the bad ass biker. With lots of silver spikes, chains and other really hardcore stuff. Or how else can you explain the silver and black combination?
I feel more mature in all those quality materials and grown-up colours, a trait I certainly lack in and don't know of I should work on since I always wanted to be a child even when I was a child. But maybe it's all slowly happening on it's own, just like the pink princess disappearing. I have the feeling that I have been (and still am) in a finding out what you really want and what your place in life is - phase and I can tell you, it hurts (my pride) to be so cliché.
Recently I planned to read more. I like to learn about other people's mind and I guess I'm missing out on many inspirational thoughts. If you know any good non-fiction, please let me know. And I decided to have a huge collection of books later on. Not really novels or purely non-fiction, but many picture books, to feed my love for photography. I really want to buy 광고천재 이제석 (Advertisement Genius Yi Jeseok) at the moment. He really sets new standards in the advertisement industry, but it's hard (impossible) to find copies.

Part 2 and 3 of the (around) Christmas new in's are planned, as apart from the pressies I also kinda splurged on many things.

Lastly, apologies for my awful skin tone (looks like zombie skin) and the obvious Park&Cube similarities, I rushed this one and am uncreative =/

    Miles

So long... wanted to update about skincare but it takes such a long time for my last product to arrive, so I have to write about something else in the meantime.
This is a fashion update instead!

I think you might know about these platform sandals already. They have been showing up since this summer only? (at least in Germany?), but in Korea I think people have been loving them for maybe 3 years already!
What I immediately think of when I see those shoes and the reason why I love them is, they absolutely remind me of the ninja shoes in Naruto!
Other than that I like that they don't look too girly and I really like this about Korean fashion. It is rather neutral/tomboy-ish cute, and preppy/sporty instead of plain sexy or girly. I think that's more classy and even chic, and at the same time very edgy.

So this post is meant to spread the love!

about the sandals are mainly very plainly designed, mostly with a few straps. mostly they are black or white, but there are beige/nude-colored ones as well. the platform is usually only a few cm high, with not much difference between the front and back heel. the platform itself can be in different neutral colors, such as gold, silver or see-through, it's mostly black (or white depending on the sandals) though.
point when buying watch out for pairs with straps, which are typical for sandals. if not, it can happen that u won't get the desired casual, laid-back effect, but something more and the dolly, girly site.
also a platform in the same color of the sandal will result more in a chunky overall look.
howto since these sandals have an casual charm it is better to pair them with casual basics, too. something like jeans + (wide) tees or anything else with simple cuts and neutral colors.
and also you can wear them with thin, ankle-length socks on chilly days (I know western people don't really do this, but it does look good and Koreans do it a lot)

over Nanda or yubsshop over Topshop over Nanda
    over arooki over Zara

over Zara over Nanda over Nanda or Yubsshop
    over Urban Outfitters over Nanda

over Zara over yubsshop Nanda or yubsshop
over yubsshop or Nanda over yubsshop

I've mainly included Korean designs over Nanda or yubsshop, because there aren't too many of those in western stores, and because I was too lazy to check many other Korean shops, but I'm sure you can find many others on yesstyle.
Don't you too find that the feet look very elegant in those shoes? Or is it just me? I've recently bought pair #9

    マジックフレーバータイム

It seems to be a rule that whenever I and Cy chose to eat at a certain (Japanese) restaurant that it has either moved or closed down (or never existed in the first place). The first time it happened resulted in us settling down at the Italian (that restaurant chain in the UK) and this time we just anyhow went into the Asian restaurant that more or less replaced Issen (since it served ramen, too) (we somehow had udon instead).
I don't like the way I photograph food, as it's obvious, thus boring, plain and unimaginative. Look at how I just overly predictably take care of dish by dish, instead of artistically arranging them to an interesting total art work.

    DIR EN BLACK

    名探偵コナン Main Theme

Just a super quick post about my new fashion obsession, which could be described as simple, muted-color block, grannie meets girlie style.
It started with Julia from toughlookdonthurt (or her personal blog) and found it's ne plus ultra in Aimee Bergstrom (Neon/ Bible). That girl looks like friggin art with that hair! And her looks are kinda sooo cute and yet so... so effortlessly elegant and classic.

A few inspos I ninja'd from her blog:

I already copied her and bought 2 COS items she owns. Unfortunately, I live in a rather small town (I actually don't really live in that town, but cruelly far from the actual thing, which makes shopping triple worse), so we don't have COS like normal people do. That's why til now, I never really had the opportunity to buy any of their clothings. Also, although I could have bought some items on my visits to other towns, I find brick&mortar shopping soo overwhelming compared to online shopping.
I (still) need to stock up on a chunky pair of black leather tassel loafers (found 2 and can't decide) and chunky accessories.

I will post the items up once they arrive, together with other stuff I bought during my recent trip to Frankfurt. I guess it's a good idea to throw in some haul posts as a gap filler, so I'm going to post monthly New In entries from now on. ('going to' as if - planning to).
Sadly, I didn't get to buy too many things in April (too busy to blog and to shop, see, I was honestly busy), so I will combine my single April purchase with the May stuffs.

Ok, this is as much as one can talk about blogging or not blogging about bought or not bought stuff.
    Time to say goodbye
