rainy magazine time

二人の娘 - KOKIA

Welcome to today's afternoon show Major Procrastination, I'm your host Ailing Chu. Let's start today's episode with our new feature 'What to do when you want to do nothing and your eyes are a damn sleepy?' Hello, lazy part of Ailing's personality.

Hello Ailing, glad to see you. So being lazy and having slept for too long I spent maybe 3 hours since I am awake trying to figure out what the fuck I could do, since I wanted to do nothing at all! I finally managed to start stream Star Trek: The Next Generation, since I wanted to re-watch the whole series for a while. Been reloading the page for the last hour since video keeps crashing due to super slow internet!
Just now I made myself a tea - rosehip, the best tea if you're a childish type of tea savourer - and am skipping through the newest H&M magazine somemore.
And that's already it for today I hope you have a wonderful Monday and see you again next time.

Well thank you lazy Ailing for that interesting piece of advise I'm sure to pick it up for myself!

... err yeah at least it's raining and so I feel a bit better, but I absolutely can't be arsed to do anything productive.
Reading magazines is at least some sort of educational or entertaining, so I'm ok with that. I love reading magazines, because most articles in them are about popular subjects they are much more interesting than books. I don't like fiction, I prefer broadening content that lets me learn about other people's mindset, world view and opinions on everyday subjects.
Even in fashion magazines are maybe especially in those you can find articles that will enlighten you in a useful way, because they deal with much more immediate and seizable stuff than politics or science (you have to admit that clothes and make-up are really very 'everyday life'). And with useful way I don't mean they tell you what is cool and what is uncool to wear so you can walk around (feeling that you) looking better than the rest of humankind.
No, I mean that fashion writers explain and investigate the current zeitgeist, the mood of society, which is ultimately the profound background of all that's happening. Soo interesting, or not? Haha Also the parts about beauty and wellness they just help you to feel good and discover new things. What could be more interesting than fashion magazines? love

So yeah enjoying those and the wonderful rain and I was in Munich to get a digital perm and am on day 3 of 3 days that I can't wash my hair (makes any sense?)

Guess when I had this breakfast! Hint: Can you find resemblances to a clock?

Be prepared for a long wordy post. Bits and thoughts about my recent life.
Right now the weather is a bit dull, despite the last two days being very sunny and it made me feel motivated to go outside and I don't know, go for a walk or jogging (of course I mastered my worldly appetence and didn't leave the house except for grocery shopping). But as the weather is now, I think I like it even more. My favourite weather is rain after all!

We are as it seems moving again. Man, we are moving so much, I guess even for an ambassador child it's not too uncommon. We are moving every 3.6 years, ok I guess that's not too much. This time I'm very unwilling to move and I think the main reason is, not because this is the longest time we stayed in one place, or we moved in because we planned to stay for the rest of our lives, or because I have a huge-ass room with pink-striped walls and a spacious bathroom with beautiful tiles, no, it's because my parents want to let this place. I never got attached to any place we lived so far, but this time I feel bad about leaving because I think I don't like to share. I don't want anyone to inhabit my perfect space. Even though half of the time I live in my own apartment now.
And this annoys me. Either I'm too egoistic or too attached.

Which is the 2nd thing which bothers me. I have always been attached to things I owned. Literally everything. I cherished and loved all stuffs I have and it got more and more. Lately I grew out of it. I often scan through my whole belongings and trash irrational parts or sorting them, well knowing that next time I do that, this piece is gonna say bye-bye. Now that I'm about to pack, I find so many jewellery - presents, shit I bought myself - and I throw some away, but with others, I don't know. It's so much that I still keep and I can't keep an overview of every single one. So irksome, because I don't want to move in with boxes full of nonsense.

3rd thing: Since I live in my own apartment, I developed the following habits/ found out these about myself:
  • I and my room mate are super old-fashioned concerning some things. Littering on the hallway (what is up with you inconsiderate fucktards?) and noise annoyance. I don't know, but indecent persons rank on the top spots of my People Whose Death Is A Welcoming Birthday Present To Even A Stone-list.
  • I hate people who walk inside the apartment without taking of their shoes! How do Americans do this? Mad disgusting, everyone should have 玄関 (genkan), so as to be forced to take off your shoes!!

starting anew, I improved in filtering out things I just own because... from useful and nice stuff. Living a bit along the lines of The Secret I started to think that keeping old stuff, that are pseudo important (let's say e.g. a document stating you aren't ready to take the so-and-so horse-riding-exam) - especially the bad ones - makes you cling to the past or hold you to the past and prevent you from moving on. So I just throw those away, when I have no reason to keep them.

I have seen the new place once. Right now we are living in a modern futuristic place, planned and build from scratch. There used to be many Americans, but as time passed everyone moved away and now it's us. I disliked everything in the beginning, the houses, the weird streets. Now as the area has developed it looks quite nice, we have strange, curved paths (they were build curved!) for people to stroll on with their dogs, and super wide cornfields with forests that seem to run until they merge with the sky. It's a peaceful, but boring place far from town. In fact I find myself thinking it resembles The Shire, somehow.
The new place is close to town but then again a whole different world. It's the last house of a small quarter and directly after that come vineyards. It's old and has a garden huger than ours now. My new room is also quite big and has a quite charming construction. The two major downsides are: it has carpeted floor and no own bathroom. I guess this will be a problem, but I'm not sure. I know how a lot of people complain about sharing bathrooms, but I never had to share mine so I don't know about this.
I don't want to furnish my room in a totally different way from now (again clinging to a pointless past?), so I'm thinking about a style that has slightly matured from the princess room appearance. As I want to keep my bed and sofa and they are both more cottage style, I want to have a grey, beige, dusted pink sort of Victorian room next. I don't plan to invest too much though, as I have my own apartment already, which is kept in a pure, white Scandinavian mood.
I wish my parents would for once let me style the new home.

My La mer Enzyme Peeling just arrived, can't wait to try it out tonight! On my face and feet(!). My feet are terrible. I have so many shits (don't know how the medical term of those are) on the sole of my feet, like cornificatin or the like (let's not get too detailed here). For a time I thought every adult gets those because feet can only carry you through life so much without sooner or later getting those uglinesses, but then I found out people actually have soft and and nice feet despite growing up Haha. I don't know who to blame for my ugly feet, but I have this theory: my feet are just too small for my body and thus when I walk the weight naturally isn't distributed evenly so I just have to end up getting ugly feet. Because I don't wear heels often, I don't wear uncomfortable shoes often, I mostly wear sneakers, flats, etc. But whatever I wear my feet get worse and worse! And it started when I was 10 when my parents made me walk more!

Oh, it's sunny again! Lately I find fashion bloggers are truly ridiculing themselves by wearing open toe/ open shin attire in the midst of winter only to show off style. It can't get really sadder right?

I'm still in a weird mood where I feel cheerful one moment and very depressed the next. Especially when going to bed my head is filled with frustration, fears and negative thoughts. Night changes many thoughts. If this is true then I find that highly interesting. At night I am dreading to sleep. Mostly it's because I don't want to be accompanied by my thoughts, but sometimes maybe it's also because I feel like I have lost a whole day doing nothing and I must catch up on the delay before a new day begins. I'm sure you all know this urge to clean up your messy room at 2am? For me at times I want to write all things in my head down into my diary, I lie in bed and feel the impulse to get up and start writing, and my head is overflowing with thoughts. Then another voice at the same time says, 'what use is this going to have? "Sleep, [...]. Sleep while you can" and safe the energy to utilize tomorrow... morning' And thus I decide to sleep.
But as I notice, writing does help me to get over some things. When I write about things, suddenly they don't seem so bad anymore. And often it is a way to finally get things out of your head.

ビカ☆봄・봄・봄

Galaxy - 악동 Musician

おっすおっすおっすおっすおっすおっすおっすおっすおっすっ! woah somehow I'm super lame, I suddenly got damn sleepy right when I started this post.

I feel a bit guilty, so I'm blogging some stuff anyways, been neglecting so much somehow.

Ok, so with all the ruckus people have been making about spring/not spring and changeable weathers only to finally come to the agreement that it really is spring, I bet it's not entirely news to you that Spring has sprung! I mean the world suddenly is green as heck~
That's why I thought that my melancholy, obsolete playlist needs some spring remake, too and voilà - Akdong Musician, Andrew Choi, Naul! I'm totally into Naul nowadays. His weird, plastic-pop/ jazzy background music and his exceptional voice are such a great and unique combination.

Enough about music, I was honestly super busy the last weeks and how no time to do update my blog. Went to Salzburg, Austria last week and finally know where Hayao Miyazaki draws the inspiration for his backdrops from. Wow, Salzburg is such an awesome city: imagine fairy tale-style Baroque buildings squeezed between majestic mountains and a river in between! Marvellous~ It's a mixture of the old Sissi movies and the Heidi anime.
Unfortunately, I didn't bring my camera along, so I have no pictures to give further expression to my raptures. But Salzburg is definitely worth a visit with good friends (who are into tumblr-style scenery)
Other than that - remember my moppa from last time? I know have two to take care of (because moppa brought his friend), so the 2nd shall hereby go by the alias of op2 (read op-il) guess where that nick was stolen from. They are the 2nd reason for why I only had limited time

Super off-topic, unrelated, random ramble from here on

So, now that I have my life back, I'm trying to continue the roll I had in March. Starting with this Friday when Cy and I are in Frankfurt to do a bit shopping. I'm going to bring my camera along, although Fra isn't really pretty, but who knows might see ikemen - not.
On this note, I bought the Galaxy Note II. Honestly, I don't understand why product designers think it's necessary for smart phones to have this metal rim around the sides. I hated it on the Note I and the Note II still has that stupid thing. I mean didn't we agree that the color silver and metallic features are ugly when gadgets suddenly started to become all white in 2008 or so? So why? That's why I really wanted to get the Galaxy S IV since the silver rim of it is not as obvious from the top view. But - size does matter, so I opted for the Note II
Wouldn't it be a good idea to stop posting weight-loss related stuff until I really made a progress that can't be ruined by just one All-You-Can-Eat-event at the Chinese? (I swear I'm capable of gaining 3kg per day) I did lose some weight over the last week (veery slowly though), but now my scale, our scale, is gone and I can't check on my weight development anymore Guess, it's time for my own scale~ Anyway, I don't really want to post any 'I'm planning to lose weight'-sort of things anymore, since it's getting a bit ridiculous! Hope I can post sth like 'My weight is now 49.9, suck it! Can you see me? *waves hands like a retard* Rest in peace!' (yes I'm actually over the deadly 50kg mark ) But more than for me, I'm hoping that Cy can finally lose some weight, because I think that her pretty face should have that ゴージャスなボディ to go along with it for the perfect killer combination, right? As for me, it'd be a lie to say that my body isn't already naturally quite well-shaped... from afar... if you don't intend to date me... or make me your wife or see me as female

So far. Bonjour.

Suddenly thought that this blog was way too beautiful to let it rot.
So here comes my list of happenings and would-be happenings from recent times.
I absolutely need a pro camera! The picture further down was taken with the Galaxy Note.

Beneath the roof of sleeping leaves the dreams of trees unfold.
When woodland halls are green and cool, and the wind is in the west,
Come back to me, come back to me and say my land is best!

2013 S O F A R

  • I or my tweets are the epitome of superficiality.
I didn't notice until my friend once said that I was so superficial sometimes (my reply: 'I am always superficial').
But indeed only talking abt looks (weight, BMI, legs, circle lenses, hair color, aegyo sal, butt shapes, Yuri's unacceptable plainness, etc) and shopping (slow DHL, taxes, sale, out of stock, wrong size, etc) is a bit sad/ bitter.

But it would be even a bit sadder if I felt that I had to hide my pitiful personality. In fact, I don't mind being superficial. I rather think we should all be a bit more honest about our superficial view of the world.

  • I bought this fab Digital Weallate Tee from YOURꙄƎYƎLIE.

I love the beautiful, beautiful untypical summery, nostalgic print.
It's like a Lana Del Rey song, a touch of romance, a touch of reality. Ok wait, I know only one of her songs - Blue Jeans #swog
Although print stuffs have become so popular, I only own a galaxy print knit sweater til now. I've seen many nice printed garments, but none of them immediately won me over like this tee.

  • During a recent shopping tour w/ A. she suddenly asked - while walking behind me -
    - Do you do special butt workouts?
    - No! WTF?!
    - Your ass looks like a friggin apple!
    *both laughing like mad*
    - I think it's because my jeans are super tight and nearly bursting!

I then found out that apple-shaped butts really exist as a technical term.

Bought a super nice on-sale kids leggings from H&M for 12-13Y! It's made out of dark blue textured corduroy(ish stuff). I think textured fabrics are going to be super in soon. Mark my words

As a matter of fact, I always check out the kid's department, because I fit into EU size 158 (the equivalent CN size is 160-166 - explains everything).

  • A frn recently said that if I had a boyfriend, he'd be damn lucky, cuz I was such a cool person.
I only thought, 'yeah sure.... cuz I'd be his best bro'.
Cy explained that partners need to share some interests to stay together and then added, 'that means Jonghoon would be perfect' and then we both were like 'CUZ HE FRIGGIN LOVES HIMSELF'

  • #Boyinterests Hellsing OVA X is totally stupid!
    Lame, lame, lame throughout!

I wanted Alucard to marry Integra! Seras could be their child.

Oh man, no more Hellsing! I'm dying.

  • Cy's kareshi came over during Christmas and New Year!! I really keep my fingers crossed for them both!
Cy's going to visit him in February!

    Lunch w/ them on 31st
    Tagliolini nere alla marinara

On this note: Some days ago a stranger obaa-san suddenly spent half on our bending my ears w/ the story of her son marrying a Japanese women from Osaka.

  • I went jogging.
Yes, I am ashamed of myself.

I gained weight during Christmas. And can't make it to the gym often enough (in fact I have to start all over again w/ my bodybuilding routine).

    So, I went jogging.

That's it!

Bye for now L O V E N G L I T T E R

Fantasy+ Twilight Chapter

November Autumn marched into the country. Season of
stinging cold,
grey skies and barren
lands.

IOW: best month! Oh November how do I love thee, thou my birth month!

I have a theory:People love the month in which they are born best - always. And they will look down on those born in other months.

Don't tell me you just not shook your head in disbelief and thought November is a fuck of a month when you just read what I wrote! Admit!

After a while of thinking about this hypothesis, I saw myself forced to alter it a bit, taking into consideration the unhealthy majority of our population, who might be too mundane to pinpoint their favo month, so here's the improved formula:

❝People will always find sth about their birth month which is better than other months❞

I tried to confirm my theory by using my family members as tests objects (whereas only my bro was cooperative enough to join my groundbreaking research):

TO 1: February

TO 1 states that February is the best month
Just the fact that it's such an inconspicious month makes it very special
Upon my statement that November is the best month TO 1 reacted with remarks of mockery and utter pity

So my brother confirms my theory!
I have more evidence, which I can't include into my academic essay, because after this short convo, I confided my theory to him (but you should never reveal the aim of your scientific studies to your test objects, because they might - consciously or unconsciously - influence the result.
His reaction: What? Can't be!! People don't always like their birth month best! I would suicide if I were born in April or May for example! Those are months for losers! double confirm

TO 2: January

TO 2 doesn't think January is the best month, because it's too cold and bla bla

I abandoned further efforts to get more sentimental answers from this reason-controlled man who is my father.

TO 3: October

TO 3 abstained from commenting my thesis with the remark 'Stop this bull'

In order to save my life I didn't insist on an answer, but ran. Her reaction was so obvious

Although I firmly believe in the validity of my theory, I must admit that the state of evidence ist still shaky.

Personally, I disliked November when I was a little kid, thinking that being born in Summer or Spring must be much cooler and princess-like, but now I really love the tristesse and coldness of month #11.

In order to create a firmer basis for my theory, I'd like to invite everyone of you to comment on this blog post about whether you like your birth month most!
confess confess confess

It's Hallowe'en season too and like every year many efforts (and oftentime fruitless ) are made to organize and host Halloween parties!
Same here Cy and I are trying to host a horror movie night, but we are very undecided about the movies to watch. But I guess The Haunting of Conneticut is quite sure. It's a semi-horror movie about a haunted house with happy end and handsome male lead!

I found a really easy recipe for a funny Halloween drink, call it Bloody Eyevy

What lychees, cherry juice, other juices or liquors
How put the lychees into the cherry juice and let them soak overnight. they will look more or less like bloodshot eye balls.
mix with other beverages until you like the taste

As always, it's really too cold for any outdoor activites (thanks god!)

Apropos, evil ghosts, malicious demons and other vengeful bad spirits
I'd like to share another of my Words of Wisdomn with you

After thinking the matter through, I came to the conclusion that supernatural beings who torture humans are stupid and idiotic

Why?

Well, first of all, there are two kind of evil spirits:

#1 The Vindictive Victims

Ghosts of murdered people, so to say (it's just no alliteration ).

Ok, I understand that it's not nice to be killed by your unfaithful husband, abusive neighbour or unloving mother , but come on - you are dead!
I always think that once you are dead you become sth like an angel right? Nearly god! And does god spend all of his time giving people a hard time? No!
Because it's a friggin unnecessary and mindless thing to do! And he has too much class and pride to take care of such childish business. And so should you!
Also you became a transcendet being already, please behave accordingly and leave earthly and lowlife feelings such as grudge, anger and hatred behind! It's so below your dignity!!

What's worse - messing with complete uninvolved persons (ie haunted buildings) is your solution? What did they effin to do you? By behaving like this you aren't better than your murderer.
Please, logical thinking is always applicable

Ok, IF you insist on people knowing the truth, then why must you scare everyone to death in order to force them to plumb the secret of your decease!
Cannot just write a note like
Hello Officer Don Kanonji,
I was killed by your colleague, Shawlong Qufang. My corpse is buried under his garage and you will find evidence of my murder here (place 1) (object 1) and here (place 2) (object 2).
In case you think this is a joke mail by an earthling, I have enclosed a lottery ticket with this evening's winning numbers - as a proof for my 'supernatural existence' and as a simple token of gratitude for your cooperation.
Any more questions? Think about them for a sec and I'll get back to you in no time.

Thank you and have a nice day Sir!
Sincerely, (your name)

P/S: Your wife is pregnant since Monday! Congrats!

P/P/S: Should you not take action after reading this (although I just presented you 23,000,000 $), I shall not guarantee that Sybille is going to give birth to a 'normal baby' (you know what I mean?)

Can't say I didn't try to be nice....

and conjure it unto the policeman's desk?

It's not damaging to the nerves and - interesting for you - much more time-efficient!
Why even bother to make a detour to layman who first have to contact the police before everything can be officialy solved - if they survive the investigation you made them conduct.

An even easier way is to just possess the murderer and make him confess! Written and orally!
I only don't know if normal dead people can possess others...

Which takes us to the other kind of evil spirits

#2 The Diabolic Demons

these are spirits which like to bring about damage because it's fun

Actually, I don't know why they do what they do, but I can't think of any other reason as fun.
Because, what did anyone ever do to them?

So, it's harder to argue with those, because they have no real reason for their actions

I can only say that it doesn't make any sense and that there certainly are other fun things to do.

Also they are mean for abusing their powers! MEAN!!!

Would you like to be treated like that? No? Then stop it! Thank you!!

So, I guess next time you encounter evil spirits or the like, just debate with them until they admit that they are wrong!!!!

Ok, that's it for today! Happy Hallowe'en!!!
Have a nice party! Collect many sweets, but don't come to my house pls!

spooky greetings,
Chu, Ailing
