マジックフレーバータイム

It seems to be a rule that whenever I and Cy chose to eat at a certain (Japanese) restaurant that it has either moved or closed down (or never existed in the first place). The first time it happened resulted in us settling down at the Italian (that restaurant chain in the UK) and this time we just anyhow went into the Asian restaurant that more or less replaced Issen (since it served ramen, too) (we somehow had udon instead).
I don't like the way I photograph food, as it's obvious, thus boring, plain and unimaginative. Look at how I just overly predictably take care of dish by dish, instead of artistically arranging them to an interesting total art work.

DIR EN BLACK

名探偵コナン Main Theme

Just a super quick post about my new fashion obsession, which could be described as simple, muted-color block, grannie meets girlie style.
It started with Julia from toughlookdonthurt (or her personal blog) and found it's ne plus ultra in Aimee Bergstrom (Neon/ Bible). That girl looks like friggin art with that hair! And her looks are kinda sooo cute and yet so... so effortlessly elegant and classic.

A few inspos I ninja'd from her blog:

I already copied her and bought 2 COS items she owns. Unfortunately, I live in a rather small town (I actually don't really live in that town, but cruelly far from the actual thing, which makes shopping triple worse), so we don't have COS like normal people do. That's why til now, I never really had the opportunity to buy any of their clothings. Also, although I could have bought some items on my visits to other towns, I find brick&mortar shopping soo overwhelming compared to online shopping.
I (still) need to stock up on a chunky pair of black leather tassel loafers (found 2 and can't decide) and chunky accessories.

I will post the items up once they arrive, together with other stuff I bought during my recent trip to Frankfurt. I guess it's a good idea to throw in some haul posts as a gap filler, so I'm going to post monthly New In entries from now on. ('going to' as if - planning to).
Sadly, I didn't get to buy too many things in April (too busy to blog and to shop, see, I was honestly busy), so I will combine my single April purchase with the May stuffs.

Ok, this is as much as one can talk about blogging or not blogging about bought or not bought stuff.
Time to say goodbye

ビカ☆봄・봄・봄

Galaxy - 악동 Musician

おっすおっすおっすおっすおっすおっすおっすおっすおっすっ! woah somehow I'm super lame, I suddenly got damn sleepy right when I started this post.

I feel a bit guilty, so I'm blogging some stuff anyways, been neglecting so much somehow.

Ok, so with all the ruckus people have been making about spring/not spring and changeable weathers only to finally come to the agreement that it really is spring, I bet it's not entirely news to you that Spring has sprung! I mean the world suddenly is green as heck~
That's why I thought that my melancholy, obsolete playlist needs some spring remake, too and voilà - Akdong Musician, Andrew Choi, Naul! I'm totally into Naul nowadays. His weird, plastic-pop/ jazzy background music and his exceptional voice are such a great and unique combination.

Enough about music, I was honestly super busy the last weeks and how no time to do update my blog. Went to Salzburg, Austria last week and finally know where Hayao Miyazaki draws the inspiration for his backdrops from. Wow, Salzburg is such an awesome city: imagine fairy tale-style Baroque buildings squeezed between majestic mountains and a river in between! Marvellous~ It's a mixture of the old Sissi movies and the Heidi anime.
Unfortunately, I didn't bring my camera along, so I have no pictures to give further expression to my raptures. But Salzburg is definitely worth a visit with good friends (who are into tumblr-style scenery)
Other than that - remember my moppa from last time? I know have two to take care of (because moppa brought his friend), so the 2nd shall hereby go by the alias of op2 (read op-il) guess where that nick was stolen from. They are the 2nd reason for why I only had limited time

Super off-topic, unrelated, random ramble from here on

So, now that I have my life back, I'm trying to continue the roll I had in March. Starting with this Friday when Cy and I are in Frankfurt to do a bit shopping. I'm going to bring my camera along, although Fra isn't really pretty, but who knows might see ikemen - not.
On this note, I bought the Galaxy Note II. Honestly, I don't understand why product designers think it's necessary for smart phones to have this metal rim around the sides. I hated it on the Note I and the Note II still has that stupid thing. I mean didn't we agree that the color silver and metallic features are ugly when gadgets suddenly started to become all white in 2008 or so? So why? That's why I really wanted to get the Galaxy S IV since the silver rim of it is not as obvious from the top view. But - size does matter, so I opted for the Note II
Wouldn't it be a good idea to stop posting weight-loss related stuff until I really made a progress that can't be ruined by just one All-You-Can-Eat-event at the Chinese? (I swear I'm capable of gaining 3kg per day) I did lose some weight over the last week (veery slowly though), but now my scale, our scale, is gone and I can't check on my weight development anymore Guess, it's time for my own scale~ Anyway, I don't really want to post any 'I'm planning to lose weight'-sort of things anymore, since it's getting a bit ridiculous! Hope I can post sth like 'My weight is now 49.9, suck it! Can you see me? *waves hands like a retard* Rest in peace!' (yes I'm actually over the deadly 50kg mark ) But more than for me, I'm hoping that Cy can finally lose some weight, because I think that her pretty face should have that ゴージャスなボディ to go along with it for the perfect killer combination, right? As for me, it'd be a lie to say that my body isn't already naturally quite well-shaped... from afar... if you don't intend to date me... or make me your wife or see me as female

Mhmm things

죽겠네 - Andrew Choi

Just thought I'd share some food pics. They are from a hot pot restaurant in Nürnberg (except the two first ones). It's really a good restaurant. The hot pot is ok, but the rest of the food (buffet, sushi, mongolian bbq) is super yummy! In one pic it appears that we ate choco-mushrooms, I don't know what that actually was, but I think it must be something choco-banana-ish. The furnishing also ranks among the more classy one. A pity I couldn't go shopping at U&O there.
I'm still weight-lossing btw (not really), bt Cy and I are ganbare-ing once more, this time more serious than ever (you could increase the seriousness about dieting til forever, it still won't really reach 'dead serious' at all). We plan to go daily now (I'm talking about going to the gym). I must say I did lose 2kg and gained them back over last weekend ㅋㅋ.

Oh, Cy and 'daily' reminds me of a certain individual that Cy kinda found for me (can't really express it in a righter way). His alias is mhmm-oppa, (short 'moppa') (god, bless my creativity). His close to p0rn dp in LINE totally prevented me from adding him at the beginning. I thought it was some random-suggestion provided by the Naver guys (who must have thought that they couldn't watch my sad fan-girl existence any longer) and that a normal person, who'd have anything to do with me, would not, not have such a dp. Anyways, I patiently waited for the guy to add me (first time experiencing something similar to the infamous (when) will he call me back- feeling - which before I only knew as a phrase abused for screen-productions). Turned out he was the one waiting. But I'm still the stupid one.
I decided now that I should determine whether I think that it's really him (his body to be precise) on the dp, or not. Cy thinks it's his body. So I'm saying, it ain't. We'll see~

P/S: He's not the potential one, don't get me wrong.

Give me More

As I'm writing this, it's extremely bright in my room; don't like at all. I'm not really a vampire or orc, but still I absolutely don't like sunny weathers at all.
Luckily I bought sunglasses, because my eyes dislike the sun even more after that one winter in the snowy mountains were neither skiing goggles nor gold-coated astronaut helmets would prevent me from tearing non-stop. Which actually brings us straight to the topic.

March Haul

Items with red numbers are recent, others are fillers

Manoush key ring cute, unique and super big (larger than palm size) and definitely 'something else' Samantha Thavasa パスケース cutest case ever for public transport cards! from Cy and ersatz key chain til now Dahong muffler (similar) this is actually THE perfect muffler (testified by my friends and non-friends)
Hater snapback finally enables the effectuation of fancy flower prints on garments as seen in ViVi magazine Quay Eyewear HAR_LM sunnies ensure instant sophistication and coolness boost! super popular brand in Korea Timex watch not that I'd really wear it nor feel the need for any sense of time
Mademoiselle Yulia x WeSC headphones Mlle Yulia is dope and those headphones are as dope as it gets
  • Liz Lisa mug I don't think there's a more awesome mug on this world? also 有難い to Cy and her kareshi - who hates Liz Lisa staff
  • Ohh Deer Spirit Of Motion Sweatshirt hipster much? I don't care, I love wolves!

I'm more or less on a constant hunt for extravagant junk (must be my parents' education's fault) which is by definition hard to come by (out of stock or sold at some underground store only, with its staff being articulate in moonspeak only).

In terms of shades, what better pair than Quay Eyewear's bold, more wearable version of this year's trendy cat-eye shape could I find? As for my 2nd newest obsession hats/ snapbacks: 唔該 to Hong Kong based brand HATer for these drop dead awesome master pieces and this too-kewl-to-ignore pun on hat. And how gorgeous is this quirky sugar-sweet oriental Manoush key chain please? Been loving Manoush's gipsy designs for the longest time! Also, no key chain no life! I'm officially despising those having no key chain, because it's really so much easier to fish whatever has a strap attached to it out of something big and slouchy.
I purchased both the sweater and the headphones on a whim. I either need one week to thoroughly evaluate the pros and cons of an item or it's already loaded onto the delivery vehicle (ok, that's a hyperbole - parcel services are wayy to slow for that). Wasn't really a hard decision to get the headphones though, I dare you to find a cooler pair? Mine got the 'designed by Mlle Yulia cheat' btw. And that lady is i.a. a DJ and fashion designer from Tokyo, who has performed for Chanel, etc and who's behind the brand Giza, which Kpop idols love. Here is a little sample of her works. One of my fav mixtapes ever!

    I wonder as I wander

One of those posts where I'm just noting down what's on my mind. I honestly think that I want to study in Korea. It is because of Kpop - I'm not gonna lie - but what's actually more important to me: I want to do something completely risky and what-doesn't-kills-you-makes-you-stronger thing. You know being Asian, growing up with everything you need you tend to have this I-don't-care-attitude and float around in this ocean called life like nobody's business. Ok not really, it's your parent's business. All my life, my parents have been doing a more than over-enthu job of caring for me: they decide what I should wear, what I should become, whom I should marry, what I should eat and who is my favourite musician. I think it's about time that I do something on my own, with no over-protective hysterical deciders around.
So I've been looking around Korean universities and it's all cool, except: the super awesome ones want you to tell them about all the international piano competitions you have won, how many beauty queen titles you hold and more 'personal achievements' (like conquering the Mt. Everest?) The others want money.
Back to the problem. I don't have money. And I'd need my parents permission to do it. But, didn't I say that I want to do things on my own? So this is as far as you go biatch? I could work for the money though, but I'm still not that kind of person who'd abscond like that. Seriously, life is complicated.

I want to study International Relations or International Business Management somehow. Since I grew up between two worlds, I actually liked international relations when I 1st heard of it years ago. As for business management, I'm attracted to it, because I'm totally not the business/ politics person. I have no clue about those stuffs at all, and it's really not the kind of thing I'd do, but that's where the fun starts, aye? Also, I always wanted to be a rich business woman bitch. So yes, as a matter of fact, I need to do it. I mean, what do my parents expect? That they can take care of me til I die? I wish they could~ So, when, when not now?

I'm hereby praying to all the gods, ghosts, 神様s, heaven and even hell if you can help me out (no, I cannot offer you my soul or anything else) to please make it happen!
